Its often a risk returning to a previously visited resort but this year I felt the White House was better than ever. The crew, always smiling and willing to help, lead by Marianna, were excellent. Its hard to pick any 1 point deserving extra praise, all services were of a high standard. IMHO the White House remains exceptional value for money.

Nice hotel very close to the airport. We only stayed one night because we were continuing to Koh Tao. The room was fine and the staff were really helpful and friendly. The resort is built in a nice tropical garden. The breakfast buffé was way better than we anticipated. Really nice. The beach is relatively small, located in the north East corner of Samui, so it s really quiet and slow. Some like it but it s too quiet for my family. If you are looking for a couple of nights relaxation after a long journey, or just like it when it s really calm and slow, you can t go wrong. Personally, I need more action. But the hotel is good.

I ve stayed here 3/4 times now and whilst the hotel is in need of some TLC it remains to be excellent value for money. OK the hotel is only 3* but the rooms are well cleaned daily, the staff always friendly and helpful, food is acceptable...not fancy, the pool clean and well located in a sunny spot ideal for late afternoon chilling....what more can you ask for! Thanks to you Elena and your team for a great stay.

luckily we booked one of the junior suites or how they call it, executive suites , which are newly renovated, stylish, big room and very nicely set-up. Price/Value is more than great if you get that bungalow booked. There were other guests during our stay, who had booked a normal bungalow, who moved out to an other hotel as their toilet was not working, room looked old, furniture ugly, no proper shower just a bath tube... The garden is beautiful and the beach just breath taking also a short bay compared to Chaweng or Maenam Beach. The hotel buildings, restaurant, receptions entry, the sun chairs would ask for some renovation to be done. Except the suite we had, it is obvious that the owner is not investing in the hotel anymore, which is kind of sad as the location would be so beautiful. English knowledge of the employees is poor, including reception staff, with the exception of 1 person, who just started to work in the restaurant, origin Philippines.

I think some people have too greater expectations. The Thai style hotel is the oldest in Choeng Mon, the rooms are darkened by the extensive flora, almost jungle surroundings (unfortunately attracting mosquitos), the rooms are well cleaned daily, and despite other comments we found hot water plentiful at all times. Yes, the hotel is in need of some TLC but for its excellent location its our preferred stay.
Reservation service:
Easy but I would prefer to have the option to pay in my own currency as in previous years

Hotel location on The Beach and staff is fantastic!
But The rooms which are Very old and Dark, really need to be renovated and updated. The bathroom had an old rusty jacuzzi with no hot water.
The website also forget to mention that The rooms have no balcony or anywhere you could sit and relax outside unless you want to sit on The Stairs. And the spa which they mention on the website is non existing!
Beakfast is poor. But the lunch is fantastic and cheap.
